SUBJECT: MATERIAL CERTIFICATION & TRACEABILITY
PROTOCOLS
1. Overview of Material Compliance
In heavy industries, chemical processing, and life sciences,
the integrity of a filtration system depends entirely on the pedigree of its
raw materials. Suzikline enforces rigorous material certification protocols to
guarantee that every metallic component, filter element media, and sealing
elastomer complies strictly with declared metallurgical specifications and
industrial safety standards.
2. Key Elements of Suzikline Material Certification
A. Metallic Materials & Pressure Retaining Parts
- Grade
Verification: All pressure-retaining components—including filter
housing shells, tube sheets, flanges, and internal support cores—are
fabricated using certified raw materials such as Carbon Steel, SS304,
SS316, and specialized corrosion-resistant alloys.
- Material
Test Certificates (MTRs): In accordance with industrial standards (such
as EN 10204 3.1), comprehensive mill test reports are maintained and
supplied upon request. These certificates verify chemical composition
(carbon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum percentages) and mechanical tensile
properties.
B. Filter Media & Consumable Compliance
- FDA
& Food Grade Compliance: Filter media utilized in food, beverage,
dairy, and pharmaceutical applications comply with FDA regulations (CFR
Title 21) regarding extractables and non-toxicity.
- Pharmaceutical
Validation Guides: High-purity PES and PTFE membrane cartridges are
backed by validation documentation covering bacterial retention challenge
tests, extractable profiles, and integrity test parameters.
C. Elastomeric Seals & Gaskets
- Traceable
Compounds: O-rings and gaskets (Buna-N, Viton, EPDM, Silicone, and
FFKM) are procured from certified principal manufacturers, ensuring
complete resistance to aggressive solvents, hydrocarbons, and
high-temperature steam sterilization (SIP).
